Territory Sales Representative

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually

Keltec, Inc. is seeking a driven and technically proficient Technical Sales Representative to join our sales team specializing in air-oil separators. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts by providing technical solutions. Your expertise will help customers optimize their operations by choosing the right air-oil separators for their applications.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target prospective customers who would benefit from our air-oil separator products, focusing on industrial, manufacturing, and engineering sectors
  • Provide expert advice on product specifications, performance, and applications, ensuring customers select the best solutions for their needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within your assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and efficiency of our air‑oil separators.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotes, leading negotiations to secure orders and close deals.
  • Stay updated on market trends, customer demands, and competitors' offerings to effectively position our products in the market.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to generate leads and network with potential customers.
  • Work closely with internal engineering and production teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates using CRM software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in industrial or manufacturing products, with a focus on air-oil separators or similar equipment.
  • Strong technical understanding of air-oil separation technology and related industrial applications.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in a technical sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling filtration products, air compressors, or related industrial equipment.
  • Background in mechanical engineering or technical consulting.

The base salary range is $100,000 - $120,000 with a 40% bonus potential.

Normal Working Hours and Conditions:Core business hours are generally 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, this position may require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations.

Physical Requirements:Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting including verbally communicating, seeing and hearing to exchange information and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. Daily physical functions include standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds. The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
