Job description

We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to serve as the onsite liaison between our client and the construction contractor for a  installation project. This individual will act as the client's representative, maintaining daily visibility into project activities, coordinating resources, tracking deliverables, and ensuring the successful execution of installation activities.


This role will be based full-time at the project site and will work closely with construction management, field technicians, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure materials, manpower, and schedules are aligned throughout the project lifecycle. The position offers the potential for long-term or permanent employment based on project needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onsite representative between the client and construction contractor.
  • Coordinate pre-installation planning, material readiness, and workforce scheduling.
  • Track and manage technician labor hours and resource allocation.
  • Ensure materials stored onsite are properly organized, labeled, and staged for installation activities.
  • Monitor project deliverables, schedules, and installation milestones.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, contractor coordination meetings, and onboarding activities for new personnel.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and schedule impacts to stakeholders.
  • Support logistics coordination between storage locations and installation areas.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and action item tracking.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or Diesel Technician Certification
  • Experience supporting construction, industrial, power generation, data center, or large-scale infrastructure projects desired but not requried.
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, and project tracking experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with contractors, technicians, and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Experience coordinating field personnel, materials, and project logistics.
Preferred Experience
  • Diesel Generator, power generation, electrical, or mission-critical construction experience.
  • Experience serving as an Owner's Representative or construction liaison.
  • Familiarity with field labor tracking, material management, and installation coordination.
