    Primary Responsibilities

    The Warehouse Clerk provides support to the warehouse management with various day-to-day tasks and projects. The Warehouse Clerk isresponsible for creating and maintaining warehouse employee productivity reports. In addition, this person will distribute work assignments per manager's direction.

    *Unloading discrepancy report experience preferred

    Base Pay:  $21.00

    Shift Differential:  $1.00

    Cooler Work:  $1.00

    Freezer Work:  $2.00

    (The Shift Differential and Cooler and Freezer are in addition to the base).

    Essential Functions
    • Analyze, print and distribute production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, and/or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed.
    • Communicate issues and action taken / needed with Warehouse Supervisor daily.
    • Respond timely to requests for data or correspondence from files as requested within an appropriate time frame.
    • Research inventory issues conveyed through company hotline, and compile error information spreadsheets.
    • Communicate effectively with internal customers in regard to orders processed.
    • Interact with all levels of workforce, including management.
    • Other duties and special projects as requested.
    • Must maintain good attendance.
    • Maintain safe work practices.
    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Previous clerical experience and (1) one-year experience in a warehouse environment required.

    Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

    • Must be proficient with MS Office. Strong data-entry with high rate of accuracy preferred.
    • Excellent communication, grammar, verbal and writing skills.
    • Must be resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
    • Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction (internal and external).
    • High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand, climb, bend, and walk. May need to drive between stores as per assignment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to both a typical office/store environment and all outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environments is low to high.
