Job description

Permanent Family Practice Nurse Practitioner / Established– FQHC | Sacramento, CA

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a well-established FQHC outpatient clinic network in Sacramento, California. This permanent opportunity supports underserved communities and offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Specialty: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or related Primary Care specialties
  • Setting: Outpatient only
  • Start Date: ASAP

Facility Highlights:

  • FQHC outpatient clinic setting
  • Multiple brick-and-mortar clinic locations plus a Mobile Medicine program
  • Patient population: Underserved communities
  • EMR: Epic

Schedule & Coverage:

  • Schedule Options: Five days per week, 8-hour shifts or Four 10-hour shifts (4/10 schedule option available)
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or approved 4/10 schedule)
  • Lunch Break: One hour
  • Telehealth: Yes (two telehealth slots per day)
  • Weekend Rotation: Yes (Saturday rotation)
  • Providers may take a weekday off or receive additional compensation for Saturday coverage
  • Patient Volume: 3 patients per hour

Practice Environment:

  • Average daily patient volume: Typical FQHC volume
  • Age range treated: All ages (role dependent)
  • Support staff: Medical Assistants and Care Coordinators
  • Work style: Independent practice with team support

  • Prior enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid required

Credentialing:

  • Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
  • Credentialed with major payors and insurance carriers
