Your Role - What You Will Contribute
- Conduct regular and specialized clinical laboratory analyses-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other areas-following established protocols to ensure excellence.
- Evaluate results meticulously, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
- Maintain diligent documentation of all procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and help to uphold high lab quality standards.
- Ensure a hygienic, secure work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of joining.
- Maintain your certification throughout your employment.
