Alphanumeric is hiring Synthetic Chemists to support our long-standing client, a global biopharmaceutical organization committed to advancing science and improving patient outcomes.
This opportunity supports a cutting-edge Predictive Synthesis team focused on high-throughput nano-scale chemistry experimentation in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute nano-scale high-throughput synthetic chemistry experiments
Generate, analyze, and document experimental data in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN)
Operate laboratory automation platforms such as Mosquito, Bravo, and/or Tecan
Prepare analysis plates and support LCMS workflows
Participate in scientific discussions and Predictive Synthesis team meetings
Support laboratory operations including consumable management, lab organization, and equipment issue reporting
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety, workflow, and data integrity standards

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
3+ years of experience in synthetic chemistry, preferably within high-throughput or nano-scale experimentation environments
Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or advanced academic laboratory settings
Familiarity with laboratory automation systems preferred (Mosquito, Bravo, Tecan)
Experience with ELN platforms and scientific data documentation
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Preferred Experience
High-throughput experimentation workflows
Spotfire or scientific data analysis tools
ACD Katalyst or similar ELN systems
Supporting fast-paced discovery or predictive chemistry programs
