Description

The Voicebox Server Assistant is responsible for assisting our Servers enabling our guests to have the time of their lives. You will exemplify Voicebox's vision, "to transform America's understanding of the karaoke experience and help them discover the best nights of their weeks, years and lives." This is accomplished by creating an extraordinary experience for our guests and becoming their first choice to gather and celebrate. All actions supporting these goals should be in line with our core values.


You will have the courage to sing a song with a party if asked and have a good basic knowledge of current and past popular songs.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  • Ensures the happiness of each Voicebox guest
  • Preview the night's schedule and prepare for any catering or special orders for the night
  • Masters our POS and calendar system
  • Works with each team member to maintain the flow of the night
  • Delivers drink and food orders in a timely manner
  • Maintains cleanliness of server area, bathrooms, and each karaoke box
  • Light bar back duties
  • Prepare, cook, and run a limited menu
  • Enters each karaoke box every 20 minutes for drink/food orders and maintains a presence
  • Remains vigilant for minors and VIP (Visibly Intoxicated Persons)
  • Opens line of communication with the host of each party
  • Maintains each party's tabs in our POS, communicating anything out of the ordinary with proper staff members


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

  • Has valid OLCC (where applicable) and Food Handler's card
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, and Google Chrome
  • Nights and weekend availability
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and other staff

***Must be at least 21 years old***


PHYSICAL STANDARDS

  • Ability to keep floors and tables clean and pick debris off the floor
  • Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently over the course of the shift
  • Ability to stay on your feet of up to 6 hours at a time.
