Position Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing ARCHIBUS-related projects, asset, maintenance, space management, and workplace management systems. This position oversees project execution, schedule performance, budget management, stakeholder communications, risk mitigation, and delivery of contract requirements utilizing Agile-Kanban methodologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of ARCHIBUS implementation, enhancement, and maintenance projects.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, implementation plans, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and performance objectives.
  • Support leadership with strategic planning, roadmap development, and project prioritization.
  • Oversee Agile-Kanban project execution and release management activities.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate activities among technical teams, system administrators, business users, and government stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of project management experience supporting federal IT systems.
  • Experience managing enterprise software implementation and modernization projects.
  • Experience with Agile, Kanban, or other iterative development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements management, and systems implementation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience supporting NOAA or other Federal agencies.
