Job description

Bolder Apps is a high-end development studio specializing in meticulous mobile and software engineering, with purposeful AI integration. We partner with clients on complex, high-stakes builds, delivering impactful solutions rather than high-volume agency work.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business requirements and engineering execution, ensuring seamless delivery of innovative products. You will lead client relationships, manage technical roadmaps, and drive the development team toward successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the product and engineering roadmap to align with client objectives and business goals.
  • Translating business requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Leading high-stakes client relations and acting as the technical point of contact for US-based stakeholders.
  • Assessing and communicating technical complexity behind Jira tickets to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Overseeing the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through delivery.
  • Leading discovery phases to define project scope, system architecture, and technical risks.
  • Running Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and maintaining a high-performance delivery cadence.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Software engineering background (such as former Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or System Analyst) with a strong understanding of code development, API integration, and sprint dynamics
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development (mobile, web, or backend)
  • Experience translating business requirements into actionable work items for software engineering teams
  • Experience managing client relationships in a delivery or implementation context
  • Experience leading discovery phases to define project scope, system architecture, and technical risks
  • Experience leading the full software development lifecycle from requirements through delivery
  • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and API structures (REST/GraphQL)
  • Agile project delivery experience, including running Scrum or Kanban ceremonies and maintaining a high-performance cadence
  • Fluent (C1) English proficiency for US client communication
  • Ability to work during 8:00am-5:00pm Eastern Time (ET)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Flutter/Dart
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM integration workflows (such as LLMs, MCP)

Benefits
  • Daily collaboration with a U.S.-based team on impactful projects.
  • No micromanagement - we focus on results, not bureaucracy.
  • Work that truly matters, with real challenges and measurable impact.
  • Clear growth opportunities for driven, reliable professionals.
