This position involves implementing and enforcing configuration management policies and procedures, utilizing automated CM tools, and performing change control and configuration audits. • Must be capable of understanding and applying configuration management concepts, and assisting in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures.
  • Must have the ability to understand basic concepts and assist in maintaining, managing, and developing the configuration management environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.

  • Must have the ability to develop hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures, manage and maintain the configuration management environment, and work independently to support full lifecycle configuration management activities.
  • Must be capable of serving as an advisor to, or non-voting member of, the Government Change Control Board (CCB) while managing configuration management activities that support controlled change and system integrity.
  • Must have eight (8) years of experience as a Configuration Manager on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity (six (6) years with a Master's degree), and if assigned to a developmental program, must also have one (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexity.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university, OR twelve (12) years of Configuration Management experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
