It operates as a home-rule city with a council-manager government, where the elected council sets policy, and the manager oversees daily operations and budgeting. We strive to create a welcoming environment for all staff, volunteers, and members of our community.ABOUT THE ROLE: The IT Infrastructure Supervisorโ€™s role is to manage staff and overall operations, ensuring the stable operation of the organizationโ€™s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly server infrastructure, Software as a Service (SaaS) systems, network infrastructure, and telecommunications systems. The IT Infrastructure Supervisor will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategy & PlanningDesign and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.Help develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure team members and project management.Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the IT executive team.Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts.Ensure changes are documented and change management processes are followedFill in for Chief Information Officer when neededAcquisition & DeploymentManage vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services.
