Job description

RN - PACU

Contract RN PACU position available. Working in a pre-open electrophysiology lab. Duration of 13 weeks. Day shifts from 04:45 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. No call requirements. The unit consists of 6 electrophysiology labs. There are a total of 25 staff members including 18 lab staff, 1 charge nurse, and 3 patient care technicians on the day shift. The unit is equipped with Biosense Webster, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic mapping systems. EMR system used is Meditech. Preferred candidates will have greater than one year of experience in the electrophysiology field. Typical procedures performed include ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart procedures. Ideal candidates should exhibit flexibility with daily case fluctuations and changes, as well as cohesiveness with teammates. Dress code includes blue scrubs provided by the facility. This unit offers new equipment and technology, along with a team of experienced staff members.
