Java Architect

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies, strong architectural skills, and the ability to guide development teams in building robust and maintainable systems. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align technical solutions with business goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement application architecture and technical design for enterprise solutions
  • Lead the design and development using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
  • Establish best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration patterns
  • Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and reliability
  • Review code, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide solutions
  • Drive adoption of modern technologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Participate in architectural reviews and decision-making processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Java development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
  • Proven experience designing Microservices-based architecture
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and development
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP principles, and system design
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Solid knowledge of database technologies (SQL & NoSQL)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency with tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Familiarity with security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSL)
  • Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools
  • Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular/React) is a plus
