We have this opportunity in Multiple locations TX, AL, CA, AZ.

Under the general guidance of the area IT Manager, this position will provide functional and business process expertise in the development and support of software applications, databases, networks, client systems and server systems used by Client businesses. This position will be a member of various teams within the NAM IT organization (BO Application, FO Applications, BI, Infrastructure, Administration, Production Control, Country Operations, Security and/or Geographic). This position is typically the second level of business systems analyst, with proven knowledge of business organization, processes and procedures in the client's operations.

Job Description

Principal responsibilities/function of the position:

1. Troubleshoots, supports and maintains software applications and supporting infrastructure.

2. Provides technical, functional and process support for assigned applications and business lines.

3. Installs and configures applications.

4. Develops training, process and procedural documentation and communiques to improve the use and availability of application environments.

5. Participates on various project teams as assigned.

6. Works as a liaison with vendors and consultants to address support activities.

7. Maintains a working lab environment to test, train, demo and troubleshoot hardware/software problems.

8. Maintains a shareable library of system documentation and practices.

9. Seeks out and communicates "best practices" in the use of core business software.

10. Assists business units with local logistics improvement initiatives.

11. Provides support to less senior staff.

12. May be required to travel up to 40% of time.

13. Required to be on-call when assigned.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Specialized knowledge required for this position:

1. Detailed knowledge of business organization, processes and procedures in the clients operations.

2. Experience in critical business systems used to support the operational needs of the business such as JWS Apex, COMMANDseries, Trimble, TMT Transman, OnBase, iAve, Portals, SharePoint, K2 and/or Cement Distribution Management.

3. Working knowledge in key infrastructure components use to support the operational systems such as SQL / Oracle, LAN / WAN, Server.

Experience and/or education required for this position, including degrees, licensures or certificates:

1. University degree in related discipline.

2. 3 - 5 years of relevant IT work experience.

3. Knowledge and experience with the construction materials industry.

Desirable Position Requirements

1. Good understanding of Business Systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

2. Plant Engineering Experience with MES (Wonderware/Siemens) or PLC (Allen Bradley)
