Job description

Creative Dining Services is looking for a full-time Cafe Supervisor at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI. The Cafe Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe, providing exceptional customer experiences while leading a team of baristas and food service specialists. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, including inventory management, staff training, and maintaining high standards of product quality and service. The supervisor will also be instrumental in developing and implementing new beverage offerings and promotional strategies to enhance customer engagement. By fostering a positive work environment, the Cafe Supervisor will motivate team members to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets. Ultimately, this role aims to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and builds a loyal customer base.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a cafe or coffee shop role.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Food service certification or training from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff to ensure efficient service and product quality.
