1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed -Canastota, NY (NS-JV)
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Direct Support Professional to support a 38-year-old individual in the Canastota area. This role focuses on enhancing social skills, money management, and independent living skills.
This individual enjoys playing video games, especially Call of Duty and other shooting games. There's a gaming room in his apartment where he loves to unwind. Has a keen interest in crime television shows and enjoys programs on A&E. Currently obsessed with TikTok, staying updated with the latest trends and creators. Lives independently in his own apartment with two dogs.
The ideal candidate is: Patient, understanding, and has a creative approach to teaching life skills. Experience in social skills training, money management, and independent living is a plus. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.
