The Material Handler is responsible for a variety of receiving and inventory activities including storing and distributing supplies and equipment to other departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receives and inspects all incoming raw materials and supplies and then distributes to the appropriate department or stocks into the warehouse inventory.
  • Maintains complete inventory cards and records for all inventory items and builds steel kits as needed to supply production.
  • Maintain constant flow of materials to the production floor for assembly.
  • Assists matte and foam cutters as needed to maintain daily production needs.
  • Adhere to the safety rules of JUPITER BACH
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:
  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Must be able to read and implement basic work instructions
  • Must be able to understand basic inventory and warehouse practices
  • Must be able to safely and competently operate a forklift
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Previous experience operating warehouse equipment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills & Mathematical skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA Safety Requirements
Physical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Must be able to use power and hand tools in a safe manner 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shift 
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to crouch, kneel and stoop for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for 6+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift
  • Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
