SAP PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT (SAP ECC 6.0 Finance) Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite) Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 12+ Years Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident. No relocation allowed. Project Scope: We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Management Consultant (Finance) to support enterprise-level SAP initiatives for a large statewide ERP environment

This role focuses on SAP Finance module support, ABAP development, functional analysis, system enhancements, and technical project delivery within a highly complex public sector ecosystem. The consultant will work closely with the development team lead and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and maintain SAP solutions supporting finance, treasury, logistics, and statewide enterprise operations. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 Finance, public sector SAP implementations, and strong hands-on ABAP development experience

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical development and functional analysis support for SAP Finance and enterprise application initiatives. Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP applications in alignment with project schedules and architectural standards. Perform ABAP development, configuration, tuning, and administration for SAP FI, Treasury, and related modules.

Develop custom SAP solutions including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (WRICEF objects). Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and SAP configurations. Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support user acceptance testing activities.

Develop test scenarios, test scripts, training materials, and end-user documentation. Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve SAP application defects. Participate in SAP system upgrades, support pack implementation, OSS note application, and environment maintenance.

Support SAP integrations using technologies such as SAP PI, SOA, IDOCs, RFCs, REST/SOAP web services, and file-based interfaces. Assist with implementation roadmaps, hardware specification planning, and solution architecture decisions. Provide after-hours support as needed for system maintenance and critical issues.

Mentor junior team members on SAP programming standards, development tools, and best practices.
