Position Description:
Do you have a passion for transforming complex financial data into intuitive dashboards, visualizations, and mission support insights? Can you leverage both analytical and design skills within a collaborative, fast paced team? CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Senior Consultant 2 within our Intel sector, supporting advanced visualization products and dashboard driven decision enablement.
As a Financial Senior Consultant 2 specializing in Visualization & Dashboard Design, you will design, prototype, and deliver high impact dashboards and analytical products. Your work will directly support financial reporting, resource analysis, performance metrics, and model driven insights across enterprise stakeholders.
This position is located in Springfield, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Build and manage visual financial models, dashboards, and reporting interfaces aligned to business planning, resource tracking, and operational visibility requirements.
. Design intuitive visualization products that translate complex models and datasets into clear, actionable insights for decision makers.
. Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
. Develop and refine dashboard model architectures, including requirements definition, prototyping, and acceptance criteria coordination.
. Collaborate with data modelers and system developers to integrate dashboards with underlying models, data feeds, and ingestion workflows.
. Prepare and deliver presentations, visual summaries, and decision support materials for leadership.
. Mentor junior staff and support cross functional visualization initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
. Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph required.
. Advanced proficiency in visualization and analytics tools (Excel, BI tools, modeling frameworks).
. Demonstrated experience designing dashboards and visual decision support products.
. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into clear, compelling visual narratives.
. Ability to work with cross functional financial, technical, and analytical teams.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Active TS/SCI with polygraph
. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or related credentials.
. Experience leading visualization initiatives or developing dashboard modeling frameworks.
. Familiarity with data ingestion pipelines, predictive modeling, or enterprise reporting tools.
. Experience mentoring junior analysts.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $153,300.00.
