JOB OVERVIEW

 We are seeking a passionate Junior UI/UX to help design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered digital experiences. You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and senior designers to transform concepts into engaging interfaces that delight users. The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in designing and improving web and mobile interfaces with a focus on usability and aesthetics.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and design mockups.
  • Participate in user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
  • Maintain and expand the design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products.
  • Support in preparing and presenting design proposals to stakeholders. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and responsive design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Balsamiq, Figma optional Adobe XD, Sketch, or Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with prototyping and collaboration tools (e.g., FigJam, InVision, Miro).
  • Good grasp of UX research methods and ability to interpret user feedback.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn from senior designers.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Strong curiosity about emerging design trends and technologies.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and iteration.
  • Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design work (academic, personal, or professional). 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to visit company offices and/or property locations.

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.

A background check and drug/substance screening are required after a conditional offer. Employment will proceed only upon receiving clear results from both.

ThreatLocker also conducts randomized drug and substance testing approximately every 60 days, in line with the same screening standards.
