Step Into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
This position will be based in Exton, PA.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a role where they can execute project work, partner with senior geotechnical engineers, provide mentorship to junior staff, and engage with clients. On the job you would be expected to:
- Coordinate with multidiscipline team to prepare proposals and execute projects;
- Safely coordinate and execute field exploration programs, construction observation, and associated documentation;
- Complete engineering analysis including: soil and rock classification; shallow and deep foundation capacity, immediate and consolidation settlement; slope stability analysis, geohazard evaluation, ground improvement, and earth retention systems;
- Partner with internal and external multidisciplinary teams during project development;
- Prepare Geotechnical Engineering reports;
- Prepare construction specifications and drawings;
- Be actively involved during the construction phase of projects;
- Positively interact with client representatives; and
- Development of scope of work, project budgets, work breakdown structures, and schedules.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering.
- 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of: MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Experience with geotechnical software packages including L-Pile, Uni-pile, SHAFT, gINT, GRL WEAP, GEO STUDIO, and FAD preferred.
- Clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug test required.

- Master's degree
- PE
- Candidate within commuting distance of Exton, PA
