Bringing sellers and buyers together in fair market negotiations, we open up a world of possibilities for expanding their knowledge, reach, and access. With dedicated service teams and a mission to uphold transparency and trustworthiness, we create quick and creative solutions to help manage the ever‑evolving demands of the global egg industry.

Job Summary

Eggs Unlimited is in an exciting phase of hypergrowth and is looking for a driven, coachable, and commercially minded Junior Sales Representative to join our growing sales and trading team. This role is ideal for someone who has already built a strong foundation in sales support, customer service, logistics coordination, order management, or food industry operations and is ready to grow into a more direct sales, trading, and account ownership role. In this position, you’ll support customer relationships, assist with pricing and order execution, learn egg market dynamics, help identify new sales opportunities, and gradually begin managing customer and supplier conversations under the guidance of experienced sales leaders and traders. You’ll be close to the action every day, learning how product availability, freight, pricing, timing, supply‑demand shifts, and customer needs all come together to drive profitable business. The ideal candidate is hungry, responsive, detail‑driven, comfortable making calls, strong with follow‑through, and excited for the chance to grow into a more experienced sales role over time. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Irvine, CA. Core work hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Support senior sales representatives and traders with customer outreach, supplier communication, pricing requests, order follow‑up, and day‑to‑day trading activity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, brokers, and internal partners through responsiveness, professionalism, and strong follow‑through.
  • Assist with sourcing eggs from internal and external supply channels to help meet customer demand and support profitable deal execution.
  • Learn how to evaluate pricing, freight, availability, timing, and market movement to support smart commercial decisions.
  • Communicate with customers regarding product needs, pricing updates, order status, delivery timing, and service‑related questions.
  • Help identify and pursue new sales opportunities across wholesale, retail, foodservice, food manufacturing, distribution, and related food channels.
  • Make outbound calls, conduct prospect research, send follow‑up emails, and help develop a pipeline of potential customer and supplier relationships.
  • Partner closely with Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to help ensure deals are executed accurately and on time.
  • Track customer activity, pricing details, order movement, follow‑up items, and account notes with strong accuracy and organization.
  • Monitor market pricing, supply‑demand shifts, inventory availability, freight considerations, and industry trends.
  • Support negotiation preparation by gathering relevant customer, supplier, pricing, freight, and market information.
  • Assist with customer quotes, sales summaries, market notes, reporting, and internal tracking tools.
  • Help resolve service issues quickly by staying ahead of delays, miscommunication, order changes, or execution gaps.
  • Develop the commercial instincts, market knowledge, and relationship skills needed to eventually manage accounts or a book of business.
  • Operate with urgency, adaptability, and ownership in a high‑volume, fast‑moving environment.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, logistics coordination, business development, food distribution, brokerage, commodities, or related fields.
  • Experience in eggs, produce, dairy, protein, food & beverage, wholesale distribution, food manufacturing, or commodity markets is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interest in growing into a sales, trading, or account management career.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, following up consistently, and building relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to be clear, professional, responsive, and service‑mindful.
  • Highly organized and detail‑driven, with the ability to manage multiple orders, conversations, priorities, and follow‑up items at once.
  • Strong sense of urgency, ownership, accountability, and problem‑solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, ever‑evolving environment. You stay focused, flexible, and positive under pressure.
  • Solid Excel skills and comfort working with pricing, reports, order details, customer data, and internal systems.
  • Commercial mindset with curiosity around pricing, margin, supply‑demand movement, negotiation, and market trends.
  • Entrepreneurial, coachable, competitive, and eager to learn from experienced sales and trading professionals.
  • Familiarity with logistics, freight coordination, purchase orders, delivery timelines, or order execution is a plus.
  • Experience supporting wholesale, retail, foodservice, or food manufacturing accounts is a plus.

  • Full range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Company‑paid Life and Disability Insurance.
  • 401(k) with a company match.
