Technical Delivery Engineer

RELEX Solutions

Atlanta, GA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 29 days ago

Job description

RELEX Solutions is seeking a Technical Delivery Engineer to join our Plan Migration Technical Delivery team within Customer Operations. In this role, you will be at the heart of driving technical change delivery for RELEX customers - owning the execution of system migrations, integrations, and configuration changes that keep customer environments stable, accurate, and future-ready. You will be part of a team focused on delivering what RELEX builds to our customers, ensuring readiness for adoption and managing a coherent customer experience across the full product suite. This is a hands-on, high-accountability role for engineers who thrive in dynamic, customer-facing delivery environments.
Join us as a Technical Delivery Engineer, and this is some of what you'll be doing:
  • Lead or contribute to end-to-end technical delivery of RELEX Plan migrations, including data migration, system configuration, integration setup, and cutover activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues throughout migration lifecycles, from staging through production.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, migration runbooks, and delivery standards that scale across engagements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of migration tooling, processes, and delivery frameworks.

At the Senior level, you will also:
  • Collaborate with internal customer and implementation teams, as well as product teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical lead across parallel migration workstreams, mentor junior team members, and champion knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical delivery challenges and represent the team in cross-functional planning forums.

We're looking for:
  • 3+ years (Engineer) or 5+ years (Senior) of experience in technical delivery, implementation engineering, or a comparable hands-on role in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience with data migration, system integration, or enterprise software configuration.
  • Demonstrated ability to own technical changes - upgrades, migrations, integrations - end-to-end with full accountability for outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of API concepts (REST, webhooks) for integration and migration work.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Hands-on experience with automation scripts and AI-assisted delivery tools to automate wide-scale or repetitive delivery tasks, reducing manual effort across the team; ability to apply active judgment rather than passively accepting automated outputs.
  • Solid understanding of data models, database schemas, and integration patterns; SQL proficiency for data validation, querying, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; comfortable working through ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Ability to read and interpret logs, error traces, and monitor output to diagnose issues in production or staging environments.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, translating technical details clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language(Java, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent) for writing and maintaining automation.
  • Clear, proactive, written and verbal communication - comfortable flagging risks and blockers before they escalate.
  • Full professional fluency in English; Spanish fluency is a strong advantage for Mexico-based candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and shift priorities in a fast-moving delivery environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership - follows through commitments and takes initiative without waiting to be directed.
  • Collaborative, knowledge-sharing team player who contributes to a positive team culture.
  • Adaptable and resilient under pressure; able to reprioritize and maintain quality when project needs or deadlines shift.

Nice to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
  • Background in supply chain planning, demand planning, or retail/CPG technology.
  • Familiarity with ERP or WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or similar).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exposure to CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and release management in cloud-native or SaaS environments.
  • Background in change management, ITIL, or structured release processes.
  • Experience with data pipeline tooling, ETL processes, or integration of middleware.
  • Exposure to fleet-level monitoring, configuration management, or SRE practices.
  • APICS CSCP, CPIM, or similar supply chain certification.
  • (Senior) Prior experience leading technical delivery teams or workstreams in a SaaS migration context.
  • Experience with Java for integration, automation, or backend scripting in enterprise environments.
