Job description

Position Overview

Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a LAN Administrator to join their Infrastructure Services team. This role will support LAN administration, telecom, and mobility initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Microsoft Teams, and mobile device management (MDM) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

A key project for this position will be supporting the firm's migration to Microsoft Teams Phone.

This is a 6-month contract with the potential to convert to a full-time employee position.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (35-hour work week)

Work Location: 100% onsite, 5 days per week


Responsibilities
  • Administer and support enterprise LAN, telecom, and mobility infrastructure.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Exchange Admin Center (EAC), and Microsoft Intune environments.
  • Support mobile device management (MDM) platforms and mobile endpoint administration.
  • Assist with the implementation and support of Microsoft Teams Phone and VoIP technologies.
  • Provide end-user support related to networking, telecommunications, and device connectivity.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network, device, and system issues.
  • Coordinate and execute infrastructure projects while ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Maintain documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality service.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Exchange Admin Center (EAC)
    • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
    • Microsoft Teams administration
  • Experience supporting VoIP telephone systems and end-user networking environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to grammar, tone, and detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and make decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to work onsite five days per week and provide occasional overtime support when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (strongly preferred).
  • Experience supporting a legal or professional services environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone migrations.
  • Exposure to IDF/MDF room management and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Recent graduates or junior-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and communication skills will be considered.
