Role: .NET Tech Lead / Senior .NET Developer

Job Title: Digital Technology Tech Lead (Development & Architecture)
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
Interview Process: 2 video rounds

Project Overview

The JET application supports airport gate agents in lobby and gate environments across iPad, desktop, and web platforms. This role supports the JET program and other enterprise digital initiatives.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role suitable for either a Tech Lead or a strong Senior .NET Developer with leadership exposure. The role owns technical solutions across multiple JET workstreams and works closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions.

Experience Level Guidance

  • Tech Lead: 8–12+ years overall experience with 3–5 years leading or owning technical solutions
  • Senior .NET Developer: 6–8 years overall experience with strong design, review, and mentoring exposure

Key Responsibilities

  • Own technical design and solution direction for assigned JET workstreams
  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs
  • Partner with architects and development teams on data services, API design, and cloud architecture
  • Perform code reviews and architecture/technical design reviews
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and oversight
  • Lead or mentor senior and junior developers
  • Participate in onsite technical design sessions as needed
  • Support additional enterprise digital initiatives beyond JET
