Job description

JOB FUNCTION – REQUIREMENTS – SUCCESS FACTORS:

The primary accountability of this position is to support the 24/7 Float Glass manufacturing production, scheduling, cutting, processing, closing and inventory of glass products to assure optimization of the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Provides a strong focus on customer needs, optimize order mix and utilize available capacity.


REQUIRES:

· Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree.

· Must have 1-2 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.

· A broad background in supply chain management and customer interaction is desirable.




DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Oversee float line wareroom production and related order processing, scheduling operations engaged in cutting, processing, inventory and shipping of glass products.

· Oversee customer service operations to provide timely and accurate order processing, inventory management and shipping and related services to meet customer requirements. Provides detail data for customer interaction and feedback on product availability, demand levels, etc., consistent with supply chain needs.
