If you're energized by solving problems, collaborating with smart people, and seeing your designs come to life, you'll fit right in here.

This role is hands-on, people-focused, and impact-driven. Your work will matter, and your voice will be heard.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects-site development, roadways,  drainage, utilities, and whatever challenges come next.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and EITs with support that helps them grow fast.
  • Partner with clients, architects, contractors, and agencies to turn ideas into built projects that serve  communities.
  • Own schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and documentation-keeping projects moving and teams aligned.
  • Shape proposals and scopes with your insight and experience.
  • Leverage top tools like Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and GIS to streamline design and push for innovation.
  • Champion smarter, greener, more resilient engineering solutions that raise the bar for every project.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in civil  engineering.
  • PE license in MN and ND
  • 5-8+ years of municipal engineering experience.
  • Strong design and project management-you know how to get projects across the finish line.
  • A leadership style that's  supportive, open, and collaborative.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites and commission meetings.

Preferred Experience

  • Working with rural or small-town municipalities.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal funding and permitting processes.

What We Offer

Real Career Growth

  • Training in design, leadership, and business development.
  • Continued education, licensure support, and advanced technical training.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary ($90,000-$125,000 based on experience)
  • Annual discretionary profit-sharing bonuses
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA and flexible benefits
  • Life and disability coverage
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Strong support for professional development and continuing education

All offers are contingent on a background check meeting company standard.
