Job Title: Senior Natural Developer (ADABAS)
Job Code: MS 164255

Location: Jackson, Mississippi (100% Onsite)
Duration: At Least 3 Years
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, occasional overtime)

Position Overview
The State of Mississippi is seeking an experienced Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to support, enhance, and maintain the statewide Child Support System (METSS). The selected consultant will develop new enhancements, integrate with modern technologies and external systems, automate existing processes, and provide ongoing production support in a Linux-based enterprise environment.
Important: This is a 100% onsite position. There is an incumbent currently supporting the role, but the agency is required to interview additional qualified candidates. No MBR.Required Skills
  •  10+ years of experience with Natural Programming and ADABAS
  •  Experience running Natural batch processes using JCL and/or SCL
  •  2+ years of experience designing and developing applications on large-scale Linux systems
  •  4+ years of experience with Automated Child Support Systems
  •  3+ years providing System Architecture expertise 
  •  Experience recommending system and process enhancements 
  •  Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and policies 
  •  Experience training end users on software applications 
  •  Knowledge of Child Support policies, procedures, and federal/state mandates
  •  Experience implementing federal and state mandates within Linux-based systems such as METSS
  •  Strong troubleshooting and production support skills 
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
