Join us at the center of Liberty Mutual's digital workflow ecosystem. • Motivated mentor: Exercise your technical chops while coaching and collaborating with junior software engineers.
  • Forward thinker: Merely fixing a problem isn't enough - using your proactive mindset and initiative, you'll also identify opportunities to enhance performance, quality and efficiency

  • Build and execute AI driven workflows.
  • Drive our Micro Frontend (MFE) strategy, rapidly onboarding React apps into the Bridgeway MFE platform.
  • Develop a deep understanding of upstream and downstream systems to maintain end-to-end data quality, proactively identifying risks, resolving root causes, and preventing data-induced defects.

  • Break down ambiguous technical problems, identify root causes across complex systems, and deliver incremental improvements with clear milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product, design, platform, security, and data to ensure system accuracy, streamline interactions, and drive continuous improvements to reliability, performance, and customer experience.
  • Establish and champion engineering best practices, mentor engineers, driving measurable improvements across SCORP engineering excellence pillars.

  • Strong database and data engineering skills, including relational database design, data modeling, large-scale data ingestion, cloud-scale data management, governance, performance tuning, and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of application and platform security, including authentication, authorization (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect), secure coding practices, and OWASP Top 10 principles.
  • Expertise in engineering quality practices, including design thinking, test-driven development, automated testing with Playwright, performance testing with JMeter (or equivalent), and rigorous code review processes.
  • Experience implementing observability and operational excellence practices using Datadog, Splunk, monitoring, diagnostics, and reliability engineering methodologies.
  • Experience building and implementing solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic workflows, workflow automation, and intelligent process orchestration capabilities to improve engineering productivity and business outcomes.
