As a Junior Software Developer, you'll contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications while gaining hands-on experience with modern development tools and practices. LOCATION: The position is on-site in the Englewood Office. To be considered for this position, you must be local to the Denver Area, or moving to the Denver Area. Relocation assistance is not provided.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • Base Annual salary of $75,000 - $85,000.00
  • Full-time positions are benefits-eligible the first month after 30 days of employment, which includes:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Design, build, and maintain solutions in the cloud for the organization
  • Partner with architecture team in designing, and delivering solutions that adhere to standards, performance, security, and compliance
  • Resolving complex business problems by analyzing and creating solutions based on industrys best practices
  • Manage entire software development life cycle including, planning, designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications in the cloud
  • Coordinate with the IT team to ensure the applications are working properly and efficiently in the cloud environment
  • Troubleshoot problems in the existing applications to identify and resolve issues
  • Mentor junior developers
  • Be the SME of the products the engineering organization owns
  • Be available for production support and regular on-call services

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 2-4 years of experience in software engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Developer
  • Experience in working with Containers with usage of orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service)
  • 1-2 years of experience as a full-stack developer using React/Angular, .Net Core or other OOP languages
  • Experience in writing RESTful APIs in microservices architecture
  • Experience with at least one modern programming language (including but not limited to NodeJS, React, .Net C#, TypeScript)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
  • Reasonable understanding of some aspect(s) of network stack and network protocols
  • Understanding of major aspect(s) of computer security: network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography, etc.
  • Experience in agile methodology, scrum framework
  • Experience in one or more of the following Azure service categories:
    • App Service including Web Apps, API Apps, or Logic Apps
    • NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB)
    • Relational databases database architecture and design (MS SQL Server, Azure SQL DB PaaS Service
