Position Summary
We are seeking an experiencedFullStackDeveloper with 3+ years of professional experience to join our Messaging Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Node.js, React, backend APIs, and Java technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our messaging platform, ensuring high performance and platform responsiveness.

FullStackDevelopment: Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services using modern technologies and frameworks, with a focus on React for front-end development and Node.js/Java/Spring for back-end services.

API Development: Create and manage robust RESTful APIs to support messaging functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.

Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing applications, utilizing GCP services to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.

Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Code Quality and Security: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding and security standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing and debugging processes to ensure the reliability and performance of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Deployment and Monitoring: Manage deployment processes on GCP and monitor application performance in production environments. Utilize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.


Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience infullstackdevelopment, with a strong portfolio of web applications and services.

Experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture on GCP.

Familiarity with messaging protocols and technologies

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.

Strong experience with back-end technologies, particularly Node.js and Java, for building scalable applications and RESTful APIs.

Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for application deployment and management.

Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and technologies.

Preferred Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $144,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
