Job description

  • Software Engineer 3/Full Stack Java
  • Java full stack developer.
  • Will work on ERLMF Application, early resolution app in Home Lending to help with mortgages.
  • Configuration, automation, and building out an AI tool is planned.
  • AI tool will be very complex rules-wise.
  • Application is already in existence, is being further developed.
  • 3 scrum teams contribute; this would fall under one of them.
  • Balancing out the specialization of the team so everyone is more well-rounded and able to contribute to all parts of the project.
Top Skills:
  • 4 years of engineering
  • Java within the last 2 years
  • Spring Boot
Nice to Have:
  • Claude experience makes a prime candidate (Devin & Cursor are also in the environment)
  • Experience in a corporate bank
In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Additional Notes:
  • RTO schedule - 3 days in office MANDATORY (2 days in Iselin at the moment, set schedule rotating monthly)
  • Interview process: 1 45-minute virtual panel
Pay Range: $55-60/hr on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
