Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Analyst to support strategic procurement activities that drive operational excellence across our supply chain. In this role, you will lead procurement processes, develop sourcing strategies, prepare RFPs, perform cost analyses, negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement activities that ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved. You'll partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve complex supply chain challenges, maintain supplier performance, and support business objectives through data-driven decision making.

As an individual contributor, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, improving procurement performance, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring materials and services are delivered on time while meeting quality, cost, and customer requirements.

This remote position is based at our Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead procurement activities for assigned suppliers, including sourcing, competitive bidding, purchase orders, negotiations, and supplier performance management.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support quality, cost, delivery, and business objectives.
  • Analyze supplier pricing, market trends, procurement data, and cost drivers to identify savings opportunities and support sourcing decisions.
  • Prepare RFPs, bid packages, supplier evaluations, and risk assessments for new and existing business opportunities.
  • Monitor ERP/MRP data and procurement requirements, including lead times, period of supply, safety stock, and other planning parameters.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving timely delivery, issue resolution, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Partner with Planners, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to resolve shortages, supplier issues, invoice discrepancies, and other supply chain challenges.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks, including critical shortages, delivery delays, demand changes, and potential production disruptions.
  • Analyze supplier root causes and lead corrective actions to resolve recurring delivery and procurement issues.
  • Prepare procurement metrics, dashboards, presentations, and management reports while supporting audits, recovery plans, production readiness reviews, and other initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Knowledge of competitive bidding, supplier development, and supplier performance management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing procurement or supply chain data.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, or APICS/ISM practices and certifications.
