Position: Salesforce Development Engineer & Systems Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business, security, integration, and operational requirements.
  • Lead development efforts across Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Experience Cloud, Agentforce, and DealCloud.
  • Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical prototypes to evaluate new Salesforce capabilities, Agentforce use cases, AI-driven solutions, and integration patterns.
  • Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
  • Drive solution architecture, system integrations, data modeling, and application performance optimization.
  • Promote Salesforce best practices, leveraging declarative capabilities before custom development where appropriate.
  • Support Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality, reusable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing oversight of vendor-provided applications, helping ensure alignment with onboarding, security, and operational requirements and coordinating required evidence or artifacts.
  • Own day-to-day coordination for a defined portfolio of applications, serving as the primary point of contact for business, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Coordinate operational workflows, including incident triage, routine maintenance, releases, and enhancement intake, track risks, dependencies, and remediation through closure.
  • Communicate status, impact, and next steps to stakeholders in a clear, timely manner, adapting technical details to the audience

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with 5-7 years of Salesforce development experience with strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, APIs, and Salesforce security architecture.
  • Experience with implementing Agentforce, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), and DealCloud implementations or integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Proven ability to lead development teams and deliver complex enterprise Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Application Architect, System Architect, FSC, or AI/Agentforce certifications
  • Experience developing POCs, evaluating emerging Salesforce features, and providing architecture recommendations based on business and technical feasibility.
  • Working knowledge of core technology concepts, including application behavior across environments, servers and processes, system logs, and system integrations
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non technical audiences

Preferred Experience
  • Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets industry experience.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as Informatica, or similar middleware solutions.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven Salesforce solutions, conversational agents, and intelligent automation.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:
  • New York / New Jersey: $ 127-158K

depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
