    We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

    This position is onsite in Atlanta, Georgia.

    Aerospace Logistics Support Specialist, V-22 and H-1

    Bell is looking for a Logistics Support Specialist in our location in Atlanta, Georgia location supporting the H-1 and V-22 programs. Bring your experience and knowledge. You will serve as the customer's point of contact and provide on-site logistics support to depot maintenance events and supply chain operations at field service centers.

    This position supports providing spares and component repair services to US Government customers by managing government owned assets through the depot repair process.

    This position is onsite in Atlanta, Georgia.

    What you will be doing as an Aerospace Logistics Support Specialist:

             Provide logistical support to customer by working with 3PL and internal support personnel to ensure timely execution of inventory receipts, shipments, and expedites

             Support the Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Asset Managers; may include tracking, processing of spares, configuration verification, repair, services, and inventory management.

             Monitor KPIs, identify potential risks, and coordinate corrective action to support timely daily execution

             Utilization of government sponsored, depot level, repair of reparable (ROR) tracking and discrepancy reporting systems; including familiarity of Commercial Asset Visibility System (CAVS), eRetrograde Management System (eRMS), Supply Discrepancy Report System (SDRS)

             Serve as inventory control manager at assigned site and provide customer order status reports, estimated delivery dates and other requested information as needed.

    What you need to be successful:

             Bachelor's degree required.

             Minimum 2 years of work experience in supply support or logistics. Aviation and/or Military Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

             Good understanding of logistics and supply chain metrics

             Strong Problem-solving skills, detail oriented, and organizational skills

             Ability to influence key support organizations to accomplish tasks at hand

             Hardworking, action-oriented, and results driven

             Team player, experience in working in a highly cross-functional organization

             Excellent oral and written communication skills 

             Proficiency with Microsoft Office (word, Excel, Power Point, & MS Outlook), and database applications

             Proven SAP knowledge in Order Management, Inventory, purchasing, and overall MRP modules is preferred.

             Knowledge of DoD process and experience dealing with relevant U.S. Government regulations is preferred.

             Prior military experience in supply chain and logistics is preferred.
