About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration & Automation Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise integration solutions connecting business applications, databases, cloud platforms, automation tools, and workflows. This individual will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and reusable integration solutions while collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in Workato or other iPaaS platforms, enterprise application integrations, API development, automation technologies, and cloud-based data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise integration solutions.
  • Build integrations using Workato or similar iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Tray.io.
  • Integrate enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and internal business systems.
  • Develop and support REST and SOAP web services utilizing JSON, XML, and related technologies.
  • Create reusable integration workflows, templates, and technical components.
  • Support ETL/ELT processes and data transformations involving modern cloud data platforms.
  • Develop or support automation solutions utilizing RPA and workflow technologies.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, performance issues, data quality problems, and connectivity challenges.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, testing activities, release planning, and production support.
  • Collaborate with application developers, QA teams, business users, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, process flows, configuration guides, and support procedures.
  • Lead integration and automation initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with security, confidentiality, and data governance standards.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of application integration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Workato or another leading iPaaS platform.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Strong experience with:
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP services
    • JSON
    • XML
    • Enterprise integration patterns
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and cloud-based data environments.
  • Experience with at least one automation or workflow platform.
  • Proficiency with SQL and scripting/programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience configuring, deploying, testing, and supporting production integration solutions.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with sensitive and confidential data in secure environments.
