Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer with strong hands-on experience in advanced automation systems, particularly in small-scale precision assembly and packaging applications. This individual will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying robotic systems from concept through installation, while driving innovation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties:

  • Lead complex engineering projects from concept through design, build, run-off, and installation in a manufacturing environment
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to solve technical challenges and improve system performance
  • Plan, manage, and execute technical project deliverables within established timelines and budgets
  • Design and implement robotic systems for precision assembly and packaging applications
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality automation solutions
  • Deliver technical presentations and communicate project updates to stakeholders
  • Research and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in robotics and automation engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on, full lifecycle application engineering experience (design → build → factory run-off/installation)
  • Proven experience with advanced robotics and vision systems for small assembly and packaging
  • Hands-on experience with precision robotic assembly (e.g., watches, medical devices, handheld products, or similar micro-assembly applications)
  • Experience with six-axis and/or SCARA robots in production environments
  • Strong background in custom End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) and electromechanical system design
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD design (SolidWorks, Siemens NX/Unigraphics, or similar)
  • Experience integrating robotics with vision systems and automated processes
