Job description

ADP is hiring a Compliance Risk Analyst

ADP has developed and maintains a global network of third-party payroll providers across more than 140 countries to deliver payroll management services to its multinational clients. To manage the risks associated with outsourcing these critical services, ADP operates a Global Third-Party Risk Management Program to help ensuring that the payroll providers meet ADP's quality, security, and compliance requirements through ongoing risk assessment, oversight, and alignment with recognized international standards and regulations.

As a member of a dedicated Compliance team, you will contribute to ADP's Global Third-Party Risk Management Program by overseeing the risks associated with its payroll providers' network. This role involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring the payroll providers risk exposures, while supporting the ongoing effectiveness of ADP's global governance framework and control environment.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ON A TYPICAL DAY
- Leading comprehensive risk-based assessments for new and existing payroll providers, identifying compliance exposures and driving effective remediation strategies, including:
o Assessing inherent payroll providers' risks across regulatory compliance, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, data privacy, and operational domains.
o Evaluating payroll providers' governance structures and risk management frameworks.
o Validating the design and effectiveness of key controls and identifying control gaps.
o Coordinating with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to develop corrective action plans and tracking remediation activities through to closure.
- Conducting enhanced due diligence reviews of payroll providers, including sanctions screening, Politically Exposed Persons screening, adverse media and reputation reviews, and verification of beneficial ownership structures.
- Ensuring payroll providers maintain compliance with data governance and records retention.
- Partnering closely with Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, and Business Operations teams to ensure effective identification, assessment, and management of third-party compliance risks.
- Supporting strategic compliance programs, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives that strengthen the organization's third-party risk management and governance practices.
- Supporting and collaborating with junior team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Because of ADP ever-growing country coverage and the regulations and laws that are constantly changing, there is a constant increase in compliance risks and a need to constantly adapt and improve our compliance program and process. As a result, the responsibilities of the Compliance Risk Analyst should not be viewed as static but may evolve according to the need for ADP to adapt its compliance program and processes.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
- Have a bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Have 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in Compliance, Third-Party/Vendor Risk Management, Audit, and/or Internal Controls. Experience within a large accounting, consulting, or auditing firm is considered an asset.
- Have a solid understanding of data privacy principles and regulations.
- Be fluent in written and oral English. Additional language skills are an advantage.

IN ADDITION, CONSIDERING THE NATURE OF THE ROLE:
- You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, demanding, and multinational environment, where priorities may shift and deadlines may be tight. You should demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a positive, solution-oriented mindset when dealing with complex issues, competing demands, and diverse stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will work directly with internal stakeholders and payroll providers across multiple geographies and cultures.
- You must have strong creative and analytical thinking skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify, assess, and communicate risks effectively.
- The position requires strong ownership, and the ability to independently drive tasks to completion, and effectively manage competing priorities with limited supervision.
