Job description

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary: The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality,
and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing operations.

This role works collaborates cross-functionally with R&D, quality and the broader operations team to develop,
optimize and validate manufacturing processes to bring new products to operational maturity.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer also provides technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to ensure best
practices in manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide technical leadership and support to the manufacturing team.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in quality, cost, and throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design is optimized for manufacturability and
scalability.
• Provide guidance and expertise in the selection and installation of new equipment and technologies.
• Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate production interruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians to improve their skills and productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills Experience
Required Skills:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering
• 5-7 years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience in the aerospace, defense, or other highly
regulated industry.
• Experience with new product introduction
• Experience developing process routings, work instructions, and PFMEAs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with team members at all
levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering
• Prior aerospace manufacturing experience
• Prior CAD design experience

• Must be able to support standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Must also be able to support overtime
on weekdays or weekends as required to support business needs.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
