Scroll is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, specifically focusing on zkRollups. Key aspects of Scroll are zkRollup technology, Scalability, Efficiency, Security, and Developer-friendly. Overall, Scroll plays a crucial role in addressing Ethereum's scalability challenges and facilitating the growth of decentralized finance (DeFi) and other blockchain-based applications by providing a scalable and efficient Layer 2 solution.

Position Overview We are hiring the UX/UI Design Lead to own the end-to-end product design and visual design processes for our next-generation web and mobile experiences. As a UI/UX design lead, you will be driving the designing process and product design leadership, from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. You will rely on user-centric design principle to craft industry-leading user experiences and meet the product goals.

As a senior designer, You'll work with design team, set the bar for design quality, give constructive feedback to peers, and partner closely with product and engineering to ship features at pace. Responsibilities Own and execute end-to-end design projects that deliver intuitive user experience for blockchain and web3 products. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Utilize various research techniques such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies to gather qualitative and quantitative data. Develop user-centered design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that address user needs and align with business goals. Maintain unified and high-quality design systems that adhere to style guides and brand identity.

Lead and mentor junior designers and help develop best practices through constructive feedback and documentation. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field. At least 2+ years of leading product design and visual design teams.

At least 5+ years of product design experience, including research, prototyping, and implementation of user-facing applications. Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Framer, or equivalent. Proficiency in user research techniques and tools, such as interviews, surveys, usability testing software, and analytics platforms.

Excellent product and interaction design skills, with a strong portfolio that reflects independent project ownership and high-quality execution. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams.
