Job description

Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is seeking a Junior Quality Control Analyst to support quality assurance and process compliance activities for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Tobacco Products (CTP), Office of Compliance and Enforcement (OCE). This role is responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, reviewing outputs and processes for accuracy and compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with quality control methodologies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation and maintenance of quality assurance plans and procedures
  • Review and evaluate processes, outputs, and documentation for compliance with established requirements and specifications
  • Conduct quality control checks and identify process inconsistencies or deficiencies
  • Compare operational outputs against standards, procedures, and performance expectations
  • Recommend corrective actions and process improvements as needed
  • Maintain quality assurance records, reports, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with monitoring process effectiveness and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support quality improvement efforts
