As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.
Key job duties include:
i.Lead the technical design and development of software solutions that address complex business needs.
ii.Serve as a technical leader on the team by providing guidance, reviewing designs and code, and helping resolve complex technical issues.
iii.Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
iv.Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, and risk management expectations.
v.Contribute to and review technical documentation, including design artifacts and procedural documentation.
vi.Promote and apply modern engineering practices such as Agile delivery, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
i.Spend time designing, coding, and unit testing features or enhancements.
ii.Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and consistency.
iii.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
iv.Partner with product, data, or business teams to clarify requirements and propose technical approaches.
v.Help troubleshoot and resolve production or lowerenvironment issues when needed.
