Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.

Qorvo's Product Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups.  Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist the Product Engineering team with data analysis and reporting of product performance on various semiconductor technologies.
  • Perform semiconductor wafer and packaged level yield analysis evaluations.
  • Provide yield plans to meet company yield targets and lead improvement efforts
  • Assist the Product Engineering team with problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct data analysis/mining/extraction utilizing statistical methods and related software tools
  • Ensure data accuracy through correlation between test platforms and maintains product history and documentation
  • Develop test plans for prototype and production electrical testing
  • Interface with Design, Fab, Test, Applications, Product Management, and Quality Engineering teams to support in the development of high yielding products and resolve manufacturing issues
  • Learn how semiconductor testing is developed and then assist the PE team with test development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing BS (Junior or Senior), MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Some semiconductor theory course work preferred
  • Analog/RF circuit design course work and/or experience highly desired
  • Exposure to DC and RF measurement equipment desired; i.e. O-Scope, Signal generator, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
  • Software Exposure: Python, ADS, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link, Spotfire, JMP desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
  • Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information

 

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location) 

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
