As a junior geotechnical engineer, you'll execute geotechnicalengineering tasks. You'll provide analysis, design, construction support and geotechnicalsite investigation services, within the context of overall project executionobjectives.

  • Technically manage and direct geotechnical site investigations, supervise investigation activities, conduct laboratory materials testing and prepare technical reports
  • Review and supervise civil/geotechnical-related construction activities
  • Conduct geotechnical engineering analysis, including slope stability, seepage and deformation analysis
  • Work on rock mechanics applications, including field mapping, geotechnical core logging, rock mass characterization, rock stability assessment, and reinforcement design
  • Plan geotechnical instrumentation, supervise installations, and monitor and report results
  • Play a role in multidisciplinary project teams, including ensuring deliverable technical quality
  • Collaborate and participate in technical discussions with team members and clients
  • Participate in proposal work
  • Travel to project sites within the U.S. and potentially internationally
