Job description

Brooksource is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our Fortune 500 banking client in their New York City Office. In this role, you will work closely with Software Engineers, AI specialists, and business stakeholders to develop internal applications that modernize and automate existing business processes. These applications support corporate finance teams and other internal business functions, leveraging AI, data, and software solutions to replace manual or outdated workflows.


This position is ideal for recent graduates from universities or boot-camps, veterans, or individuals with up to one year of professional IT experience and a long term interest in technology.


Logistics

  • New York, NY (Hybrid 4 days onsite) (300 Park Avenue, 4th Floor New York, NY 10022)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications used by corporate business teams.
  • Build backend services and business logic using Python.
  • Develop modern user interfaces using React.js.
