Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer and Dataverse Designer to support mission-critical digital transformation efforts within the federal government. This role is pivotal in the development and deployment of secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that leverage the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in designing and implementing low-code/no-code applications that streamline operational workflows, enhance data-driven decision-making, and align with federal IT governance standards. As a senior technical lead, you will collaborate closely with agency stakeholders, program managers, and cross-functional development teams to modernize business processes and deliver value to the public sector.

Applicants must meet ALL of the following to be considered:

● U.S. Citizenship (Required for clearance eligibility)

● Ability to obtain a U.S. Public Trust Security Clearance

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 

● Multiple years of Power Platform Development experience across several full lifecycle projects

Key Responsibilities

● Lead the full lifecycle of Power Platform solutions—from business requirements through deployment and support.

● Design Power BI reports and Dataverse to support the Power Application

● Design and develop robust Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate workflows, and dynamic Power BI dashboards

● Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs

● Optimize performance, implement effective governance frameworks, and adhere to security best practices.

● Mentor junior developers and contribute to reusable components and coding standards.

● Partner with stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to provide expert-level insight on Power Platform capabilities

● Manage ALM, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using tools like Azure DevOps or Git

● Stay ahead of platform updates and help the team stay on the cutting edge of Power Platform innovation

Required Qualifications

● Active Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain one

● 10+ years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years focused on Power Platform

● Proven expertise with:

○ Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)

○ Power Automate (Cloud Flows; Desktop RPA a plus)

○ Dataverse / Common Data Service

○ Power BI (Data modeling, DAX, Dashboard development)

● Experience with Power Platform ALM, governance, and environment strategies

● Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, REST APIs

● Hands-on experience with:

○ JavaScript, PowerFx, JSON

○ Azure Logic Apps, SharePoint, SQL

● Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

● Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher

● Experience with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM

● Knowledge of premium connectors, licensing models, and custom connectors

● Background in Agile/Scrum environments

● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

● Leadership experience and mentoring capabilities
