Job Description
Pre-Construction Activities
  • Conduct pre-pour site walks to identify constructability risks, access constraints and unforeseen conditions on site that need to be addressed.
  • Partner with Project Management and Pre-Construction teams to review all items and technical specifications related to equipment pads, cement foundations, and concrete aprons and approaches.
  • Identify batch plants in the areas of projects and ensure they can meet customer mix specifications.
  • Oversee the ordering of materials for assigned jobs, ensuring material takeoffs are correct and within budget.
  • Inspect pre-pour preparation measures to include forms and rebar. Participate in customer inspection walks as required.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings to ensure full understanding of scope and schedule for any cement requirements.
  • Assist with the concrete scope of bids with the estimating team.

Field Leadership & Daily Operations
  • As the field leader for the concrete team, be responsible for the safe and high-quality execution of pours.
  • Maintain accountability for quality assurance by ensuring work meets company standards and customer specifications, with all required quality documentation completed and submitted through Procore or other designated systems (e.g., inspections, benchmarks, photos).
  • Coordinate with customer quality teams, third-party inspectors, batch plants, and the cement foreman on the day of pour to ensure concrete being delivered meets specification and passes slump test.
  • Supervise pours and finishing activities to ensure quality and craftsmanship of finished product.
  • Operate lulls, skid steers, and excavators as required to support operations.

Qualifications
  • Experience in field construction leadership, site supervision, or foreman-level responsibilities specifically related to concrete foundations and flat work.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, including structural, civil, and landscaping plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crews and subcontractors, manage daily field operations, and maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Working knowledge of safety practices, JSA processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material (BOM) and material takeoffs
  • Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Traqspera, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with Project Managers, General Superintendents, Site Coordinators, and customer representatives.
  • Ability to conduct site assessments, maintain documentation, and support inspections and permitting processes.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites as required.
  • Experience mentoring craft labor and junior field leaders.
  • Strong understanding of concrete specifications and materials.
  • OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant safety certifications

Pay Range: $110,000-$125,000 per year + travel incentive opportunities, and a company truck.
