Job Description

Position Description:
The position will be responsible for network and corporate IT security policies through the organization; including but not limited to, network, WAN, LAN, PC Desktop, VDI, Web Servers and internal applications. Using industry standards, best practices, and PCI compliance rules, the Network Security Engineer will develop, design and implement company-wide security standard to enable the organization to pass and complete all PCI and network security audits with the highest level of compliance.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Work with business management and partner companies to understand potential security risks and remediate multiple sets of security requirements
Ensures security requirement from business units is properly documented and communicated
Set and continually manage security expectations with team members
Create decision documents and suggest policies and processes mitigate security risks
Proactively manage changes in network security requirements, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
Create and follow incident response plans and documentation
Leads weekly security meetings

Qualifications

Requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in engineering, technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years security experience
Extensive background with Cisco ASA's
PEN testing performance and remediation experience
Proficiency with the complete Microsoft stack
Ability to create dashboards in Splunk Analytics
Solid understanding of Cisco ASA specific VPN tunnels and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to write security ACL's utilizing CLI
Ability to understand and create network diagrams
Experience in identifying network security vulnerabilities
Willingness to respond swiftly and effectively to network security events
Must work well in a team environment
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
