Job description

Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Role and Position Objectives: Join our team as a Junior Network Administrator for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems! You'll work alongside experienced network and IT professionals supporting enterprise network infrastructure, secure communications, and network security operations. This is a great opportunity to build foundational skills in a dynamic and mission-critical environment.
What You'll Experience:
  • Hands-on work with routers, switches, and network infrastructure installation and configuration.
  • Supporting secure network operations including COMSEC and encryption systems.
  • Engaging with cross-functional IT and engineering teams to resolve network issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring network performance metrics and assisting with troubleshooting across LAN/WAN environments.
  • Contributing to documentation, test procedures, and network configuration records.
  • Providing responsive customer service and technical support to internal stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols, and network communications.
  • Developing familiarity with networking equipment (routers, switches, VoIP, VTC systems).
  • Ability to troubleshoot 10/100/1000 Base T and fiber optic wiring in support of network systems.
  • Developing familiarity with network monitoring tools and reporting technologies.
  • Developing familiarity with DISA STIGs and applicable security requirements.
  • Active DoD Security Clearance required (level TBD based on program requirements).
  • A minimum of an IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
