Job description

Steridose: We specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of bottom-mounted magnetic coupled mixers and radial diaphragm valves for the bioprocessing industry. As of 2026, Steridose has been newly acquired & now is part of an established group of companies: Holland Applied Technologies, Bio Fab Technologies, Liquid Process Equipment and W.A Tompkins Co. The full Steridose product portfolio will be operational at the Bio Fab Technologies manufacturing facility, located in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
We are excited about reinvesting into this fantastic product line and are looking at hiring new team members to help us! With growth on the horizon and our recent move into a brand-new manufacturing location, the future has never looked brighter. We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to provide clients with expert guidance on equipment functionality and operation. This role involves providing technical support for the use of the products in the bioprocessing industry, selecting and sizing equipment, preparing quotes, and supporting the End User, OEMs and Distributors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Engineering and Technical Support (Subject Matter Expert, SME)
  • Lead technical reviews, present equipment recommendations, and communicate process concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for clients, providing expertise over project lifecycles.
  • Support customers in the sizing and selection of equipment that best aligns with process goals, industry standards and conformance levels, and long-term reliability.
  • Review client specifications, P&IDs and drawings to understand process requirements, conformance levels and constraints, recommending appropriate equipment sizes and specifications.
  • Provide application troubleshooting support to customers regarding mixing technology and flow control.
  • Conduct technical presentations to integrators, engineering firms and consultants regarding specifics of the Steridose product line offerings.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers and applications staff.
  • Travel to customer locations as required (20-30%).
Inside Sales Support
  • Generate pricing quotations to customers.
  • Provide sales support to Outside Sales Team, providing quotations as needed as well as technical expertise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Biological Systems, or related field) required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of process engineering experience in bioprocessing or related industries (mixing technology experienced is preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of process design, hygienic equipment, and fluid systems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading customer projects from concept through execution.
  • Professional communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and process design software (AutoCAD or similar, preferred).
